The estranged couple will now spend their summers single from now on.

Amanda Batula and Kyle Cooke, stars of Bravo’s “Summer House,” announced their split on their respective Instagram Stories.
“After much reflection, we have mutually and amicably decided to part ways as a couple,” the statement read. “We share this with a heavy heart and kindly ask for your grace and support while we focus on our personal growth and healing.”
The couple proceeded to ask for privacy while noting their honesty about their relationship throughout the years. Speculation of tensions between the duo began in November 2025 when a report claimed they were living separately. A source close to the couple told US Weekly at the time that the claims weren’t true.
“They’re going through a challenging time,” the source told the publication. Though, they insisted Batula and Cooke were committed to making the marriage work.
Days later, fellow “Summer House” star Lindsay Hubbard also vouched for the couple at the time. The former fashion publicist said that the couple’s marriage was solid, noting that it was “no big deal” that they were going through a rough patch.
As Bravo fans react to the news, Cooke broke his silence on the split while speaking with “Hollywood Raw” podcast host Adam Glyn.
“It’s a lot to swallow when your entire relationship from the very, very beginning is on TV. So we knew it wasn’t [going to] be easy,” Cooke said in the video captured by Glyn.
Even though he declined to specify when the couple went their separate ways, Cooke notes that fans picked up on the fact they weren’t living together. Jokingly, he said that it was “the worst kept secret” and the couple wasn’t ready to speak about it at the time.
“We weren’t lying about it. We didn’t split, we didn’t separate. We were trying to figure out the best way to give our relationship another,” Cooke continued. “And ultimately, we decided we don’t [want to] give each other false hope, we don’t [want to] give our friends and family false hope, we don’t [want to] give fans false hope … There’s no playbook.”
He confirms that the duo will continue to do press together for the show’s upcoming season, noting that there isn’t any hate.
A source told US Weekly that the couple had ongoing issues last summer, and decided to call it quits during the fall. According to the insider, the duo were already separated by the time BravoCon rolled around in November. The consensus at the time was to keep the news under wraps.
The source continued to spill the tea to the publication, citing a recent incident as Batula’s breaking point. The incident in question was featured in the trailer for the upcoming season of “Summer House” — Batula can be heard describing the time Cooke was caught sleeping at a fan's house.
Not only that, but Cooke’s constant partying into the early morning was another factor in the breakup. Cooke’s heavy partying has been a point of contention for fans of the show to see throughout the years.
“She felt unheard and emotionally exhausted,” the source continued. The couple realized they were on different pages, and didn’t want the same things anymore.
The split wasn’t shocking for the former couple’s inner-circle as it had been a long time coming. According to the source, Batula wanted the divorce, but neither she nor Cooke had lawyers or any plans in place at the time.
“Summer House” co-star West Wilson spoke on the split during his appearance on the “Show Me Something” podcast. Noting the relationship’s publicity, Wilson supports the former couple’s call for privacy. He later talks about the difficulty of the situation.
“Even if this is what’s best for them and it’s all going to be for the better, it is still objectively a hard thing to do,” Wilson said. “It is probably so f–king exhausting. I can’t speak for them, but I am proud of them up until this point.”
As cast members and fans discuss the news, the upcoming season of “Summer House” will premiere on Tuesday, February 3 on Bravo network. The tenth season of the Bravo hit will feature the couple’s relationship woes throughout the summer.
