- Met Gala 2026: The Before, During, and Many Afters
This year’s gala featured came in its truest fashion, featuring pre-parties, sculpted gowns, and various after parties for the ages. The 2026 Met Gala has come and gone with its dazzling red carpet, and parties throughout the weekend. The first Monday of May has come and gone with celebrities, fashion royalty, athletes and models gracing the red carpet with their interpretation of the Fashion Is Art dress code. As everyone knows, the theme goes hand in hand with an exhibit at the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute. The institute’s “Costume Art” exhibit will run from May 10, 2026 until January 10 of next year. The 12,000 square foot space, dubbed the Condé M. Nast Galleries, will feature hundreds of pieces that center the dressed body as well as thematically relevant fashions. The Pre-Gala Events Did Not Disappoint With many eager to see everyone's looks for the biggest night in fashion, pre-parties popped up across the city — notably Teyana Taylor’s burlesque show. Taylor’s burlesque party, dubbed The Dirty Rose, banned cameras for the night as only Vanity Fair was allowed to capture the affair. Stars would fill a beautiful room in The Times Square EDITION, a Marriott hotel in the tourist destination. They would watch as Taylor and other dancers graced the stage, oftentimes leaping towards the audience. Danielle Brooks, star of “Orange is the New Black,” MCed the night and later performed a song for the show. Film Director Baz Luhrmann, who directed the show, sat in a booth with a glowing lamp. Vanity Fair quipped that Luhrmann’s sitting arrangements were “proof that you can always trust a director to score the table with the best lighting.” The publication spotted model Alex Consani at the event, who also attended Taylor’s Met Gala burlesque show in 2024. That show was also kept under wraps with no cameras allowed, with surprise performances by Summer Walker and LaLa Anthony. At the time, Taylor spoke with Interview Magazine about The Dirty Rose and how it came to life. “The actual idea has been on paper for years. I’ve been shopping it for years, but I’ve gotten so busy doing movies and being a mom and everything else in life,” Taylor said. “So when the opportunity finally came, it was one of those things where I was already ready so I didn’t have to get ready.” For this year’s show, Taylor wore custom Calvin Klein designs throughout the night. She began in a hand-embroidered crystal and pearl embellished body suit underneath a fringed ivory coat and leather gloves. She later appeared in a red crystal bodysuit with heart patch and an under-bust cut out. Eve Batey, the reporter who covered the event for Vanity Fair, noted that “the mysterious drinks” paired well with Raising Cane’s chicken fingers and fries served on silver platters throughout the night. Taylor wasn’t the only one to host a pre-party as Players Magazine hosted one, notably featuring models, designers and “tunnel walk regulars.” “We want to create a community with Players that is at the intersection of sports and fashion,” Vladimir Roitfeld, the publication’s editor-in-chief, told Vogue. Roitfeld launched the print and digital platform last year, with Dwayne Wayne serving as a guest editor, Spike Lee gracing the cover, and Mario Sorrenti photographing the cover. The publication’s pre-Met Gala gathering took place at Moss, a new Fifth Avenue private members’ club. Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Ceedee Lamb and Washington Commanders quarterback Sam Hartman attended the event alongside Met Gala host committee member Lauren Wasser, designers Ludovic de Saint Sermin, Patricio Campillo, and photographer Sebastiona Faena. Attendees mingled over cocktails made by Clase Azul, featuring tamarind, lime and mescal Mosscalita, and they also enjoyed the distiller’s new sipping tequila. Jenna Adrian-Diaz, who covered the event for Vogue, described the dinner as “relaxed and unhurried.” The menu featured a three-course collaboration between Moss’ chef Angela Zeng, and the Paris-based chef and culinary producer Nicolo D’Alessandro. Dessert featured a genmaicha ice cream atop a goat cheese granita and cacao granola. Roitfeld would later hint at the publication’s future in relation to the evening’s event. “I feel that maybe we are on the right track,” Roitfeld said. “We want to bring something fresh, and a new vision [to the table].” Prior to covering Players’ event at the Moss, Vogue hosted its annual First Friday kickoff party. Teyana Taylor hosted this party as well, alongside Chloe Malle and Simone Ashley. The cocktail party found itself at the Madame Tussauds on 42nd Street, the famed wax figure museum. Freya Drohan, Vogue’s parties editor, described the event as a good reason for many stars to visit the tourist attraction. “I’ve definitely never been here — I mean, have any of us,” Michael Kors said in the museum’s elevator. The night’s dress code was “Bodies, Bodies, Bodies,” a clear nod to the Costume Institute’s upcoming exploration of how the human form is portrayed in the form of fashion. The cocktails appeared to follow the theme, with Waisted Cosmos and the Body Electric being served throughout the night. Apparently, as Drohan heard throughout the night, partygoers talked about Gwyneth Paltrow’s Goop Kitchen finally opening in New York City. Not only did guests express their excitement about Goop Kitchen, they were more than willing to try everything on that night’s menu — trays of health-focused food milling the event. Guests also took to the seventh floor where they participated in a Google Try On Activation, which used artificial intelligence to allow them to see themselves in archival and runway looks. The Main Event Features Interpretations of “Fashion is Art” and the Dressed Body Not only did stars put their spin on the “Fashion is Art” theme, they turned to the “Costume Art” exhibit for inspiration. Co-chair and newly married Venus Williams wore a look inspired by Robert Pruitt’s portrait of her, titled Venus Williams Double Portrait. Williams would grace the red carpet with a black Swarovski crystal mesh gown designed by Giovanna Engelbert. Fellow co-chair and “Cowboy Carter” singer Beyoncé took the route of portraying the dressed body. The dress had a skin-tone mesh base with a diamond skeleton that went down to her fingers. As the co-chairs shined on the carpet, here are Forty-Ninth Block Media’s favorite looks of the night: The Party Didn’t Stop at the Gala: After Party Edition As Stevie Nicks did a surprise performance, and Beyoncé pulled out another look during the main event, the after-parties carried the high fashion energy well into the morning. Speaking of Beyoncé, the “Tyrant” singer and husband Jay-Z hosted a private party at Crane Club’s Members Lounge. A source told Page Six that attendees were hidden as they entered the party due to a makeshift tunnel. Due to this, paparazzi weren’t able to snap photos of partygoers going in or out of the event. Onlookers were able to see some of the A-List attendees entering the party, notably Teyana Taylor and Mick Jagger. Sources told Page Six that the party went late, with attendees leaving at around four in the morning. The only hints about the inside of the party came from music executive Lenny Santiago, who posted a video of himself walking through the makeshift tunnel into the party. The video showed a black carpet leading to a wall featuring the logo of Beyoncé’s whiskey brand, SirDavis. Another popping after-party came from the likes of GQ, which was co-hosted by Chase Infiniti, Damson Idris, Lisa and Paul Anthony Kelly. The publication’s post-gala party took place at Cafe Zaffri at The Twenty Two. GQ’s new global editorial director Adam Baidawi and global fashion correspondent Samuel Hine greeted guests as they arrived. “I think every GQ party is just about getting a ton of different people together across art, fashion, music, sports, and Hollywood, or whatever else it might be,” Hine told Vogue. They’re all members of this family we’ve assembled, so we like to throw it all together and see what happens.” GQ hosted many A-Listers for its late night affair, including Angela Bassett, Babyface, Laufey, Shaboozey, and many others. Zachary Weiss for Vogue Singapore compared the atmosphere to “a suburban basement’s rumpus room while your parents might be out of town; a recipe for no-stop revelry with many unlikely pairings.” Like the guests at Beyoncé’s event, many began calling it a night at four in the morning while others plotted their next move — Rihanna’s outing on the Lower East Side? Madonna’s in NoHo? Some of them may have hit Kate Moss and Teyana Taylor’s party at The Box, which lasted until 7 a.m. The Richie Akiva affair, dubbed “The After,” had Kaytranada spinning while A-List guests included Shaboozey, Evan Ross and Lisa from Blackpink. Busta Rhymes and DJ Cruz offered performances and Diplo ultimately took his turn in the dj booth. Similar to Taylor’s burlesque pre-party, dancers in sequin pasties took to the balconies to give the attendees a run for their money. Phones were notably banned from this party as well. With the night ending so far into the morning, Vogue’s Malcia Green described the atmosphere as the party began to wrap up. “As dawn approached, the only thing on anyone’s minds was seemingly scoring a skinny cigarette through the seas of silver confetti that clouded their view,” Greene wrote. Eileen Kelly, host of podcast “Going Mental” and Vogue contributor, took on the daunting task of trying to attend every after-party of the night. She started quite early, 10 p.m. to be exact. At that time, the after-party hadn’t started as attendees were still at the Gala. She did stop at the GQ after-party, but she was still too early. This was around 11:40 at night, and the gala had just ended. Her next stop was at what she described as a “chic French-fashion-brand party.” She described it as such due to the “no press” rule, so technically she wasn’t allowed to cover the party. Upon inside, Kelly saw Leonardo DiCaprio, Robert Pattinson, Suki Waterhouse and Mick Jagger having a time on the dance floor. She noted that this party was one of her favorites of the night. It was at this party where she heard about Beyoncé’ and Jay-Z’s exclusive party at the Crane Club, though there was a QR needed to gain access. With this year’s Met Gala focusing on fashion as an artform and the dressed body, the “Costume Art” exhibition will be on display until soon after the new year.
- Megan Thee Stallion Confirms Breakup from NBA Star Klay Thompson, Exits Broadway Show
In a short social media statement, Megan alleges infidelity as part of the reason for the split. The duo made their first public appearance last summer, though many suspect they have been together well before then. Megan Thee Stallion, the rapper behind “Cocky AF,” and NBA player Klay Thompson have split after their almost yearlong romance. The Houston-born rapper confirmed the news to TMZ through her rep, though she initially hinted at the news on her Instagram Story. In the snippet, she accused the Dallas Mavericks player of cheating and getting “cold feet.” Megan Thee Stallion took to Instagram to speak out about the break up. “Cheating, had me around your whole family playing house … got ‘cold feet,’ Pete said in the Instagram Story. “Holding you down through all your HORRIBLE mood swings and treatment towards me during your basketball season. Now, you don’t know if you can be ‘monogamous.’????” As the dust was settling from her post, Pete’s statement to TMZ provided more clarity. “I’ve made the decision to end my relationship with Klay. Trust, fidelity and respect are non-negotiable for me in a relationship, and when those values are compromised, there’s no real path forward. I’m taking this time to prioritize myself and move ahead with peace and clarity,” the rapper said via a rep. The publication reached out to Thompson, but he hasn’t responded or spoken publicly about the split. The former couple confirmed their relationship last summer, and made their public debut in July 2025 when they attended the rapper’s inaugural Pete & Thomas Foundation Gala in New York City. As for the cheating allegations, social media users believe WNBA player Lexie Brown to be the other woman. According to Yahoo!, Thompson recently unfollowed Brown on Instagram while Brown made her page private. To many, this proved that the two were distancing from one another amidst the rumors. Brown later took to her Instagram Story to clear her name, absolving herself from the situation. “I’ve seen what’s being said online, and I want to be clear, none of it is true, and I have no involvement in this situation,” Brown said in the post. “This week marks the start of an important and exciting new season for me, and my focus is fully on that.” The rumors are quite far-fetched, especially with neither Pete nor Thompson have acknowledged them. Brown is gearing up for her upcoming WNBA season with the Seattle Storm, which comes after her battle with Crohn’s disease over the past couple of years. Following the split, Pete announced her early exit from Broadway’s “Moulin Rouge!” — noting that her last show will be May 1 instead of May 17. She later released a statement about the news. “It’s been such an honor to be part of a ‘Moulin Rouge!’ and I’ve met so many amazing people in this theater. Y’all work so hard and I have so much respect for the dedication, the stamina, the work ethic, the time and the effort y’all put into the work,” Pete said. Pete continued: “Every single person at the ‘Moulin Rouge’ has inspired me to go harder as an entertainer. I’m so grateful for the cast and the crew that made this experience so meaningful. Y’all are really some of the kindest human beings I’ve ever met! To all the Hotties that showed up or planned to attend, thank you for supporting me during this incredible journey!” A replacement performer has not been announced. Pete was the first female performer to play the role of Zidler, previously known as Harold Zidler. In April, the rapper had left the musical mid-show due to health issues. According to her rep, Pete was transported to the hospital and later diagnosed with “extreme exhaustion, dehydration, vasoconstriction and low metabolic levels.”
- Sean “Diddy” Combs’ Lawsuit Against NBCUniversal Regarding “Bad Boy” Documentary Dismissed by Judge
The music mogul’s lawsuit didn’t make it past a New York Supreme Court judge, another blow to the now-imprisoned musician. Sean "Diddy" Combs currently sits behind bars as he serves his four-year-and-two-month sentence, notably convicted on two counts of transportation for the purpose of prostitution (Photo Courtesy: New York TImes) Sean “Diddy” Combs finds his $100 million lawsuit against both NBCUniversal and Peacock about the documentary, titled “Diddy: Making of a Bad Boy,” thrown out by New York Supreme Court Judge Phaedra Perry-Bond. The network argued that Combs admitted in court that he was the one responsible for ruining his own career, noting that damage was already done prior to the documentary’s release. Lawyers for the network celebrate the decision as a win for freedom of speech. “This is an important ruling that protects filmmakers and journalists by dismissing this meritless complaint, as barred by New York law and the First Amendment,” Theodore J. Bourtrous Jr., an attorney for NBC, told The Hollywood Reporter. In his lawsuit, Combs claimed that the documentary portrays him as guilty of “serial murder, sexual assault and trafficking minors and extortion — knowing that there is not a shred of evidence to support them.” The legal complaint also cited The Hollywood Reporter’s interview with the documentary’s producer, Ari Mark, as evidence of the network rushing to get it out. Mark spoke with the publication about a fast turnaround, noting that it’s important to be both fast and distinct. “It’s really competitive, and I think that is why it wasn’t enough to be fast, it was also necessary to be distinct,” Mark said. “There’s no time, and this was an extremely fast turnaround.” Though, Combs’ own words came back to bite him. During his October sentencing, Combs decided to speak for himself in front of the judge, his family, the press, and anyone else in the courtroom that day. “Because of my decisions, I lost freedom,” Combs said. “I lost my career. I totally destroyed my reputation.” NBC argued that the statement contradicted and negated Combs’ claims that the documentary damaged his reputation. Juda Engelmayer, Combs’ publicist, said in a November statement that NBC’s statement took the music mogul’s words “out of its legal context.” Engelmayer argued that Combs’ words weren’t relevant to whether the documentary met standards of accuracy and responsibility. Despite Engelmayer’s argument and Combs’ lawsuit, Judge Perry-Bond agreed with the network as Combs failed to establish that the documentary caused reputational harm. She also noted that the documentary clearly discloses the biases of the interviewees, and included counterstatements to the alleged defamatory statements. In her ruling, Judge Perry-Bond noted that Combs’ reputation was already “tarnished by the numerous lawsuits, domestic violence video, press coverage, and a criminal indictment prior to the documentary’s publication.” Combs’ lawsuit focused on two aspects of the documentary: the allusions to conspiracies that he was involved in the deaths of his ex-partner Kim Porter, and Bad Boy artist Notorious B.I.G. The music mogul isn’t done as his legal team is currently working on an appeal regarding the two counts, both transportation for the purpose of prostitution, for which he was found guilty last summer. - What’s Tea? Tiger Woods and Vanessa Trump Firing Staff Due to Fear of Leaks Amidst Golfer’s Treatment, Woods Arrives in Swiss Rehab Center
Woods’ latest DUI arrest has led to concerns about potential leaks to the press. The couple appear to hold strong as Woods heads to Switzerland for treatment following his March 2026 DUI arrest. Vanessa Trump and Tiger Woods have fired some of their staff members as they fear that they’re leaking stories to the press, a source told Page Six. The couple has faced rumors about the status of their relationship since Woods’ latest arrest for driving under the influence near his Florida home. Trump allegedly gave the golfer an ultimatum following the Mar. 27 arrest, noting she will break up with him if he doesn’t get things under control. Many people close to the couple told the publication that she wasn’t happy with the coverage of the alleged ultimatum, and remains committed to Woods. “It’s not a big staff. They’re paranoid of leaks, and she hates the press,” a source told Page Six. As rumors continue to swirl about their relationship, Woods has seeked treatment at a rehab center in Switzerland. The golfer’s private jet landed in Zurich on the morning of Apr. 3, according to The Palm Beach Post. A source did tell Page Six that Woods has since checked into a Swiss rehab center, saying the golfer “is focused on getting better.” Woods hopes to return to the sport following his treatment, a source exclusively told PEOPLE. He “desperately” wants to return to the sport, which is motivating him to stick with his current treatment. “He knows he needs to beat his issues and also deal with the pain from not only playing golf, but also from his regular fitness schedule,” the source told the publication. “People around him are supporting him, both personally and professionally. All of this is helping him deal with it enough to get through it.” Woods took to Twitter, currently known as X, following his arrest to announce his break from the sport. The golfer noted he will step away to seek treatment as well as focus on his health. Neither Trump nor Woods have spoken publicly about his arrest and subsequent treatment since the golfer’s initial statement.
- d4vd Arrested and Charged with First-Degree Murder for the Death of Celeste Rivas Hernandez
The New York-born singer was taken into custody in connection to the death of a 14-year old girl. The 21-year-old potentially faces a life sentence or the death penalty if he's convicted for the death of Celeste Rivas Hernandez. It's alleged that he killed her to cover up the sexual relationship they had. d4vd, real name David Anthony Burke, was arrested on Thursday (Apr. 16) for the killing of 14-year-old Celeste Rivas Hernandez. The musician has been charged with murder and other counts relating to Hernandez’s death. Los Angeles County District Attorney Nathan Hochman, alongside LAPD Chief Jim McDonnell, outlined the charges in a press conference. “These charges include the most serious charges that a D.A.’s office can bring — that is, first-degree murder with special circumstances," Hochman said. “The special circumstances being: lying in wait, committing this crime for financial gain, or murdering a witness in an investigation.” The additional charges against Burke, according to the district attorney, include: Continuous sexual acts Lewd and lascivious sexual acts with an individual under 14-years-old Mutilating the human remains of a body The 21-year-old singer was arrested months after Hernandez was found dismembered in his impounded car. (Photo Courtesy: L.A. County District Attorney's Office) The 21-year-old singer faces a maximum sentence of the possibility of life in prison without the possibility of parole, or the death penalty, if he’s convicted as charged. During his arraignment on Monday (Apr. 20), he pleaded not guilty to all charges, and he will remain in custody until his next court appearance on Thursday (Apr. 23). “The actual evidence in this case will show that David Burke did not murder Celeste Rivas Hernandez and he was not the cause of her death,” the singer’s attorneys wrote in a statement. “We will vigorously defend David’s innocence.” Hochman went to say the musician had a sexual relationship with the underaged girl while he was an adult, killing her to protect his career. Since Burke’s arrest, the autopsy report for Hernandez’s death has since been published. The teen had died from “multiple penetrating injuries,” according to the Medical Examiner’s report. The manner of her death has been ruled a homicide. The report noted that Hernandez was only 71 pounds at the time of her death, and she was found dismembered in the front trunk of Burke’s Tesla. “After several months, I am grateful this information can now be released, not only to the public, but also to the grieving family enduring loss,” Chief Medical Examiner Dr. Odey Ukpo said. “It is unfathomable they have had to wait this long to learn what happened to their daughter. The transparency of the information contained in our findings and reports is essential to empowering the community to make informed changes to [effectively] reduce fear and allowing the community to take informed action.” According to the Los Angeles Medical Examiner’s Office, two stab wounds were found on Hernandez’s body — one on her right abdomen and another on the left side of her chest. There was also an injury to her liver. They noted that her body was found in an “advanced state of decomposition.” d4vd allegedly had a romantic relationship with the underage teen, though that hasn't been confirmed or proven (Photo Courtesy: Celeste Rivas Hernandez's family) Where her body was dismembered, according to the report, fragments of blue plastic material were found in the cut surfaces. Barry Fisher, the former director of the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department Crime Lab, said that the plastic fragments possibly came from “a plastic device, a knife or something.” The report shows that methamphetamine, also known as MDMA, and benzodiazepines were both found in Hernandez’s system. When the case goes to the jury, the report will be one of the many pieces the jury will consider. If the jury convicts, the manner in which the victim is killed plays a role in what charges to go with. Hernandez’s family was in attendance of Burke’s court appearance on Monday, and they were expected to make a statement to the media afterwards. The press conference was ultimately cancelled, but her parents, Jesus Rivas and Mercedes Martinez, later released a statement via their attorney. “Every Friday night was movie night and we spent wonderful times together. We love her very much and she always told us that she loved us,” they wrote. “We miss her deeply.” They also thanked the Los Angeles Police Department and the district attorney’s office for working on the case.
- Most of Blake Lively’s Sexual Harassment Claims Thrown Out By Judge in Pivotal Move Against the Actress
Lively’s sexual harassment case against her former co-star and director is hit with major setback. Even though most of her claims were dismissed, Lively still has a case. She will have to present her case in a more narrow scope. A federal judge in the Southern District of New York officially ruled on Justin Baldoni’s bid to end the case, dealing a blow to Blake Lively’s lawsuit against the director. U.S. District Judge Lewis J. Liman dismissed 10 of Lively’s 13 claims , including harassment, defamation and conspiracy. Judge Liman’s ruling allows for a narrower set of allegations, including breach of contract and two retaliation-related claims, to continue to the May 18 trial date. He wrote that certain claims could not proceed as a matter of law, notably those dependent on Lively being classified as an employee. Other claims, specifically her retaliation-related allegations, were sufficiently supported and allowed to proceed to trial . Baldoni’s legal team, led by Alexandra Shapiro and Jonathan Bach, made a statement to the Daily Mail in support of Judge Liman’s ruling. “We’re very pleased the court dismissed all sexual harassment claims and every claim brought against the individual defendants,” they told the publication. “These are very serious allegations, and we are grateful to the Court for its careful review of the facts, law and extensive evidence.” Sigrid McCawley, a member of Lively’s legal team, also spoke out following Judge Liman’s ruling. ”This case has always been and will remain focused on the devastating retaliation and the extraordinary steps the defendants took to destroy Blake Lively’s reputation because she stood up for safety on the set and that is the case that is going to trial,” McCawley said. Lively later took to social media to break her silence on Judge Liman’s ruling, noting that she won’t stop fighting to expose the systems and those who aim to silence victims. She later explains the reasoning behind bringing forth the lawsuit against Baldoni and the other defendants. “The last thing I wanted in my life was a lawsuit, but I brought this case because of the pervasive RETALIATION I faced, and continue to, for privately and professionally asking for a safe working environment for myself and others,” Lively wrote. She would post various quotes from the ruling that appear to affirm her versions of things: The legal battle between former “It Ends With Us” co-stars began in December 2024 when Lively initially filed a lawsuit against Baldoni, producer Jamey Heath, Wayfarer Studios, its co-founder Steve Sarowitz, publicist Jennifer Abel, and crisis publicist Melissa Nathan. She alleges Baldoni not only subjected her to sexual harassment, but he orchestrated a retaliatory smear campaign alongside the other defendants to destroy her reputation. Lively seeks more than $160 million in damages as Baldoni denies the claims. So much so that he filed a $400 million counter suit against Lively, her husband Ryan Reynolds, publicist Leslie Sloan and Sloane’s PR firm. Baldoni alleged defamation and breach of contract, though his case was dismissed in June 2025. A court-mandated conference happened in February where both sides attempted to come to an agreement. They all left the meeting with no agreement, leading to taking the legal battle to court. Prior to the February conference, Lively and Baldoni recounted two different versions of what happened on set. For one, Baldoni argued that Lively failed to meet the legal standard needed to prove harassment — calling the allegations “small potatoes.” His attorney, Jonathan Bach, argued that Lively and Baldoni’s dispute stemmed from creative disagreements rather than unlawful conduct. ”This is a case about making a movie, one with highly charged romantic and sexual themes,” Bach said. He noted the presence of an intimacy coordinator on set. Lively’s attorney, Esra Hudson, countered that Baldoni’s behavior was inappropriate and consistently crossed boundaries, alleging that Baldoni introduced sexualized material not in the script. Hudson also argued that the “Gossip Girl” actress faced retaliation after raising concerns, including the time she declined to take photos with Baldoni. The case will proceed to trial in May, allowing Lively to present her case in a more narrow scope.
- What’s Tea? “Summer House” Stars West Wilson and Amanda Batula Announce Romance Following Weeks of Speculation
The news of the newfound connection comes almost three months after the announcement of Batula’s split from co-star Kyle Cooke. The Batula-West romance became public knowledge when DeuxMoi posted about a blind item they received of the news. The duo initially denied the rumors until the ending of March, releasing a joint statement. Another relationship bombshell has dropped in the world of Bravo’s “Summer House,” this time with soon-to-be legally divorced Amanda Batula and co-star West Wilson. What’s the Context? Where Do We Begin? As the tenth season of the hit show rages on, the news of the duo getting together has the cast and the show’s audience shook. For one, Batula and Kyle Cooke dated, got engaged, and married on the show. Their relationship played out for almost a decade, both the highs and toxic lows, ending with their breakup in January. One of the toxic lows of their relationship was when they revealed Cooke’s infidelity during the season three premiere. Cooke recalled that he blacked out during a guys’ night out, ultimately waking up with a girl in his bed. The two would stay together and get married in September 2021 — later becoming the subject of a May 2022 episode. West joined the fray in the show’s eighth season as a sports journalist who’s not good at committing to a relationship. During his premiere season, he and Ciara Miller hit it off in what seemed to be a genuine budding relationship. It was refreshing for the audience to see as Miller was guarded in relationships, especially after her fling with “Southern Charm” star Austen Kroll. The relationship between Miller and Wilson was short-lived as the eighth season’s reunion revealed their breakup. When cameras went down in September 2023 , the duo were basically dating — Miller met Wilson’s parents, and even stayed with his brother in Chicago. Miller and Wilson’s relationship would end in December 2023 when they went out for their final dinner as a couple. During that dinner, according to Miller, Wilson told her he couldn’t commit for “show related reasons.” Things were rough during the season eight reunion as both DeSorbo and Miller rip into Wilson for how he handled his relationship with Miller. “I stopped talking to you altogether,” Miller said during the reunion in regards to the breakup. “Because I think that’s mean to take someone to your parents’ house and want to sleep with them when you have no intentions of doing anything.” Wilson responded by noting how difficult it would be to navigate someone’s feelings on the show as a newcomer. He later said he didn’t want to be the guy “who came onto the show and is just Ciara’s puppet the whole time.” The sports journalist faced immense backlash for how he handled Miller and their relationship. Following Wilson’s debut season, for which he was a fan favorite, the New York Times profiled him . He would later be the subject of another New York Times article , for which he discussed infamy and the immense backlash after his relationship with Miller. Season nine of “Summer House” saw Miller confronting Wilson for how he handled their relationship, calling him out for speaking so much with the media. The audience saw Wilson trying to get back in the good graces of the nurse-turned-model. How Did This Unravel? A Timeline Social media sleuths have kept their eye out for various interactions between Batula and Wilson, similar to how they figured out Batula and Cooke were separated. The celebrity gossip Instagram account DeuxMoi initially posted about the Batula-Wilson romance in March 2026. According to a blind item sent to DeuxMoi, the duo was spotted flirting with one another. Social media users and “Summer House” fans were hesitant to believe the rumor as such blind items sent to DeuxMoi aren’t always accurate. This isn’t the first time DeuxMoi highlighted stars of the Bravo hit show. During season eight, Lindsay Hubbard reveals that former castmate Danielle Olivera sent a blind item to DeuxMoi about Craig Conover during Batula and Cooke’s wedding. Olivera admits to sending the gossip during that season’s reunion, stating that it was “juicy as f–k.” The gossip about Batula and Wilson’s relationship wasn’t quieting down since the initial DeuxMoi post as evidence kept mounting. For one, the photos the duo posted of one another were slightly suggestive. Not only did they post suggestive photos, fans saw them in the wild. The duo was spotted at Salt Hank , a sandwich shop in New York City, and Batula is seen wiping Wilson’s face. The video was posted back in February 2026, almost two weeks before DeuxMoi posted their blind item. Wilson would deny the dating rumors while appearing on Watch What Happens Live in March. He brushed off the rumors, stating that he was just helping a newly single friend readjust to the dating scene. “If it’s not clear, that’s a very important person to me, and I, like, care about her a lot,” Wilson said. The next day, (Mar. 26) Page Six reported that Batula and Miller fell out amidst the rumors. The former friends apparently cancelled a planned appearance for Amazon Live, and unliked each others’ Instagram posts. Finally, as March wrapped up, both Batula and West confirmed their romance. The duo posted identical statements, in which they mentioned “the complicated relationship dynamics” and needing the space to process everything in private before going public. Interestingly enough, they didn’t confirm whether they're in a full-blown relationship or just hooking up. “Our connection grew out of a genuine, long-standing friendship, which made it especially important for us to approach this with care,” the statement read. “As our feelings evolved, we wanted to take time to understand exactly what we were feeling.” Both Batula and Wilson posted identical statements to their respective Instagram Stories, saying they recognize the impact and never wanted to “cause any hurt or be perceived as careless.” [Courtesy of West Wilson on Instagram] Soon after the statement went public, a blurry photo of Miller started circulating the internet. Page Six claims the photo was taken after Batula and Wilson went public with their romance. TMZ also claims that Miller obtained a video of Batula and Wilson, showing the duo being intimate in Wilson’s apartment. The alleged video was recorded unbeknownst to either party. The existence of such video has not been confirmed by either Miller, Batula or Wilson. How Did Fellow Castmates Handle the News? Bravo fans and the internet were in a frenzy when the statement dropped, the “Summer House” cast members have made their thoughts known. Lindsay Hubbard, Carl Radke, and new cast member KJ Dillard all used screen grabs from the current season amidst the fallout of the news. Hubbard posted her photo shortly after posting a selfie with Miller. Dillard would later post a follow-up photo on his Instagram Story, featuring both Miller and fellow newbie Mia Calabrese. “I love my big sisters for life,” he captioned the post. He came through with another post, this time featuring a Spotify screenshot of the song “Back Stabbers” by The O’Jays, captioning it with “logging off.” Calabrese also posted in support of Miller by reposting one of the model’s posts to her Instagram Story. Jesse Solomon, who joined the show during its eighth season, claimed in an Instagram comment that he heard of the rumors. He noted that the rumors were denied to him numerous times. He also posted a photo of himself with a shocked expression while looking at his phone to his Instagram Story. Adam Glyn, the New York City-based street journalist who previously spoke with Cooke about his own split, r an into the Loverboy founder to get his reaction to the news. “I actually am worried for Amanda, if I’m being honest,” Cooke said. “I’m not justifying any behavior, but from what I’m seeing, she’s kind of getting cyberbullied.” He follows up that statement by reading Wilson, noting that the journalist is the type of guy to be “playing multiple women at the same time.” “Somehow in all of this, 50 thousand people have decided that West deserves their follow,” Cooke continued. “Meanwhile, they’re lighting up Amanda … I just feel bad.” The conversation spans across three videos, lasting up to almost six minutes each, while the two spoke in front of 123 Market. Throughout the videos, he notes how Batula is in a vulnerable spot and that social media users should “let off the gas” regarding the cyberbullying. Glyn later asked Cooke about the status of the relationship between Batula and West as well as if he knew how long they have been involved with one another. “The details are vague,” Cooke said. “I’ve seen rumors, I’ve seen blinds, and I’ve had DMs that say it dates back to June … I don’t know what to believe.” Cooke noted that Miller may have had more evidence at her disposal regarding Batula-Wilson romance, though she wanted him to come to terms with it on his own terms . He later touches on the group dynamic and the future of the show. “It’s not just me, Amanda, West here. It’s, like, our whole friend group,” Cooke said. “It really does put in jeopardy what the show’s about. ‘Cause, like, you can’t shoot ‘Summer House’ if the vibes are off.” This leads to Cooke discussing his own future on the show, with Glyn hinting at rumors about the final episode of this current season being a farewell. Cooke notes that his time in the show’s spinoff, titled “In The City,” might have him as part-time. He doesn’t completely write off the show for either himself or the cast in general as there’s still relationships and friendships to navigate. So, What’s the Big Deal? Throughout the seasons, Batula and Miller’s friendship grew immensely as they would lean on each other in regards to their respective relationships. Notably, during the tenth episode of season eight, Miller and former castmate Paige DeSorbo spoke candidly about Batula and her relationship with Cooke. The trio were back in the city for the week, and as they were shopping at Old Navy, Batula spoke about striving for a career outside of Loverboy — Cooke’s line of hard teas. “It’s time to do something for you, and get out of your own way,” Miller said during the conversation. Ciara Miller and Paige DeSorbo have a honest conversation with Amanda Batula during the tenth episode of the show's eighth season, encouraging to break out and follow her own dreams outside of her marriage. Both DeSorbo and Miller essentially hype up Batula, noting that Cooke’s company wouldn’t be as successful without her. They also encourage her to go after her career aspirations outside of Loverboy. During the current season, Miller describes the race aspect of her experience on the show, specifically as a Black woman publicly dating white men. Batula can be seen comforting Miller following the conversation. It’s unclear if “Summer House” will pick cameras back up like they did for DeSorbo’s breakup from “Southern Hospitality” star Craig Conover or when Radke and Hubbard broke off their engagement. Also, the future of the show in general remains unclear.
- What’s Tea? Tiger Woods’ Rollover Car Crash Results in DUI Arrest, Follows a History of Suspected DUI and Car Crashes
The golf champion found himself in cuffs for suspicion of driving under the influence. The 15-time golf champion has a history of car crashes fueled by suspicion of driving under the influence of either drugs or alcohol. Woods has slowly been trying get back into the world of golf following recovery from a rupture Archilles tendon and back surgery in October 2025. Tiger Woods was arrested on Friday (Mar. 27) for suspicion of DUI following a car crash near his Jupiter Island home. Martin County Sheriff John Budensiek said Woods was driving a Land Rover on a South Beach road at a high speed. Woods attempted to pass a pickup truck hauling a pressure cleaner, which slowed to turn into a driveway. As he swerved to avoid the truck, Woods’ SUV clipped the back of the trailer — resulting in the Land Rover flipping on its side and sliding down the road. Woods later climbed out of the passenger’s window to get out of the car, Budensiek said. Neither Woods nor the other driver were not injured in the crash. The 50-year-old golfer was arrested on suspicion of misdemeanor DUI with property damage and refusal to submit to a lawful test. With the accident happening around 2 p.m. ET, Woods arrived at Martin County Jail at 3 p.m. ET. He was released on bail at 11 p.m. ET that night, according to Yahoo! Sports . Florida law required Woods to stay behind bars for at least eight before being released, hence the late night release. Photo Courtesy: Martin County Sheriff's Office “They did several tests on him,” Budensiek said about the arrest. “Of course, he did explain the injuries and the surgeries that he had. We did take that into account, but they did do some in-depth roadside tests.” Woods’ breathalyser didn’t show any signs of alcohol, though Woods refused to do a urinalysis test for other drugs. Budensiek noted that Woods didn’t want to incriminate himself, being careful with what he did and didn’t say. It’s unclear how fast Woods was driving. According to the driver of the pickup truck, he saw Woods’ SUV closing in at a high speed. The driver attempted to get off of the road, but wasn’t able to in time due to the narrow residential street. This is not the first time Woods was suspected of DUI. In 2017, police found him asleep at the wheel in his running car. The car in question had two flat tires with damage to both the front and rear bumpers. At the time, he admitted to taking “a bad mix of painkillers.” He pled guilty to reckless driving. In February 2021, he would suffer leg injuries following a car crash outside of Los Angeles. The car flipped over several times, trapping him inside — he later had surgery to deal with his injuries. He spent three weeks in the hospital after the surgery. Following his release on Friday, New York Post reported that he attempted to sneak out of the back door of the jail to avoid the media. Matthew Olszewski, an Orlando attorney specializing in DUI cases, spoke to the publication about the legal case Woods faces. “He’s in for a legal dogfight, in my opinion,” Olszewski said. “They’re going to be trying to prove a message and what bigger message to prove than, ‘Even if you’re Tiger Woods, you do this in our county and we’re going to slam you.” Woods’ aforementioned history with suspected DUIs and car crashes only adds to Olszewski’s sentiment. The golfer was weighing on whether to return to the PGA Tour at the Masters, which begins April 9. He last participated in the PGA Tour in July 2024 when he missed the cut at the Open Championship at Royal Troon Golf Club in Scotland. It’s unclear at the moment when, and if, Woods will make his return to the sport that he revolutionized.
- OnlyFans Owner Leonid Radvinsky Died at 43-Years-Old with His Death Not Announced Until Days Later
The businessman was a reclusive figure who rarely spoke with the media, or even the top creators on his platform. Leonid Radvinsky, Ukrainian-born and raised in Chicago, helped revolutionize the adult content industry with his time with OnlyFans. Leonid Radvinsky, the billionaire who owned OnlyFans, died from cancer at 43-years-old, the company said in a statement on Monday (Mar. 23). “We are deeply saddened to announce the death of Leo Radvinsky. Leo passed away peacefully after a long battle with cancer,” a company spokesperson said . “His family have requested privacy at this difficult time.” Andy Bachman, CEO of Creators Inc., said Radvinsky passed away earlier than the public announcement. Bachman’s Creators Inc. works closely with OnlyFans content creators. Speaking to the New York Post , Bachman said Radvinsky’s passing wasn’t sudden, and that the company was “fully prepared and resilient.” “His passing wasn’t sudden, so there was a lot of preparation. He passed a few days before the media found out, so there was no interruption to the business,” Bachman explained the publication. Ukrainian-born Radvinsky acquired OnlyFans’ parent company, Fenix International Limited, in 2018, and served as the director and majority shareholder. OnlyFans wasn’t the only adult content-based company in his portfolio as he founded MyFreeCams, an adult cam site. It’s unclear at the moment who will take ownership of the company, though, according to Reuters, OnlyFans is looking to sell a majority stake to investment firm Architect Capital. OnlyFans surged in popularity during the Covid pandemic as the lockdown had creators and consumers running to the digital space. Such a digital migration turned the subscription-based platform into a mainstream source of income and entertainment. The online subscription platform has been credited with revolutionizing the sex industry with Radvinsky turning it into an adults-only phenomenon. Crazy enough, the platform originally didn’t allow for adult content. Before his death, Radvinsky didn’t speak to the public or the media too often. He avoided the public spotlight, purchasing an oceanfront condo at the Turnberry Ocean Club in Miami. The property serves as one of the city’s most exclusive residences, according to the New York Post . Radvinsky is survived by his wife, Yekaterina “Katie” Chudnovsky, an attorney and philanthropist who oversees special projects at the Rare Cancer Research Foundation.
- Chance The Rapper Wins Countersuit Against Former Friend and Manager, Awarded $35
The jury only took a couple of hours to come to a decision, resulting in a $35 payout to the Chicago rapper. Pat Corcoran (left) and Chance the Rapper (right) worked together during the Chicago native's rise to super stardom, changing how the industry interacts with independent artists. The half-decade long legal battle between Chance the Rapper and former manager, Pat Corcoran, ended on Friday as a Chicago jury ruled that Corcoran failed to prove he was owed $3.8 million — $2.2 million in unpaid work and $1.6 million in unpaid commissions and royalties. Chance, real name Chancellor Bennett, spoke with the Chicago Sun-Times after the trial, saying that he claims the victory “in the name of the Lord.” Bennett had countersued for $1 million, though the jury decided that Corcoran only had to pay $35. The jury also recommended he turn over the internet domain name ChanceRaps.com , a website he used to sell Chance the Rapper merchandise. Speaking with the press after the trial, Corcoran’s team argued there was no substantial damages awarded to either party. “We respect the jury’s decision, but the message to music managers is clear: get it in writing,” one of Corcoran’s lawyers, Jay Scharkey, said. “The jury award of $35 speaks to how seriously the jury viewed Chance’s case.” Bennett’s lead attorney, Precious Jacobs-Perry, issued her own statement to the press following the trial. “The jury heard the evidence for more than two weeks and reached the correct conclusion: Mr. Bennett never agreed to pay commissions after his management relationship with Pat Corcoran ended, and Mr. Corcoran’s breached their contract. This ruling is not only a victory for Mr. Bennett, it is a victory for independent artists everywhere. … And above all, we are happy for our client who has been standing on principle for years.” Corcoran himself declined to speak with the Sun-Times. He previously claimed that he and Bennett had a “sunset clause,” which would allow him to receive three years of earnings after his April 2020 termination. His firing came during the fallout from Bennett’s album “The Big Day,” which was not received well amongst fans and critics alike. [Photo Courtesy: Anthony Vazquez, Chicago Sun-Times] The jury heard details of Bennett’s countersuit, in which Bennett accused Corcoran of breach of duty. Corcoran’s legal team described him as a hardworking manager who deserved his fair payment for helping in Bennett’s come up. The legal team for Bennett painted the narrative that Corcoran was an opportunistic former employee who was fired for a reason and isn’t owed anything. Robert Sweeney, the lead attorney for Corcoran, explained that his client had an agreement entitling him to 15% of net profits for any project Bennett worked on. Bennett’s attorneys fought against these claims, arguing that Corcoran and Bennett never had a written contract. They supposedly worked based on a 2013 handshake deal and verbal agreement, a deal that Corcoran allegedly had no problem with until he was fired. “There’s not one single document in the seven years they worked together that shows any evidence of a sunset,” Jacobs-Perry said. She also claimed that Corcoran was overpaid by a little more than $312K before his termination. Bennett’s attorney also focused on the allegations in his countersuit, notably alleging that Corcoran mishandled business deals with merchandise companies. Bennett also alleged in his countersuit that Corcoran was trying to collect kickbacks to help his other management business. The five-year legal battle comes to an end, following the end of a manager-artist relationship that helped shape the world of independent music. The duo worked together as Bennett went from a local star to a global sensation, essentially inseparable throughout the 2010s.
- Oscars 2026: “Sinners” and “One Battle After Another” Win Big, Lighting Running High at Afterparties, and a Tie
The 98th annual award ceremony took place at the Dolby Theater with celebrities heading to the Governor’s Ball and Vanity Fair’s Afterparty. The 2026 Oscars saw "Sinners" and "One Battle After Another" bring home 10 Oscars between the two of them. Last weekend, celebrities and actors gathered to celebrate the work of their peers at the Dolby Theater for this year’s Oscars. Paul Thomas Anderson’s political thriller “One Battle After Another” took home six statues, including the award of the night — Best Picture. “Sinners,” Ryan Coogler’s bloodsoaked vampire film based in the Jim Crow south, walked away with four statues, including Michael B. Jordan’s Best Actor. “I wrote this movie for my kids to say sorry for the housekeeping mess that we left in this world — we’re handing off to them,” Anderson said while accepting the award for Best Adapted Screenplay. “But also with the encouragement that they will be the generation that hopefully brings us some common sense and decency.” Cassandra Kulukundis, the casting director for “One Battle After Another,” would take home the award for Best Casting. The industry had predicted that “Sinners” casting director Francine Maisler would take home the award, according to Variety . Cinematographer Autumn Durald Arkapaw made history that night as she was the first Black woman to win Best Cinematography for her work on “Sinners.” This is also the first time in her career that Arkapaw won an Oscar. “I really want all the women in the room to stand up,” Arkapaw said during her acceptance speech. “Because I don’t feel like I get here without you guys.” Another heartwarming moment came when Jordan won his Best Actor award. Not only did he receive a standing ovation and thunderous applause when he accepted the award onstage, he received a similar reaction when he went backstage to speak with the press. Reporters can be heard cheering for almost a minute, which is a rare thing for reporters to do for any actor. After the standing-ovation, Jordan answered various questions. Tanya Hart of Hollywood Live asked about the mental exercises he did to play the SmokeStack twins. “I write a lot of journals for my characters, like backstories,” Jordan said. “So, I try to go from the earliest memory that I can conjure up, and think of, and I write up to the first page of the script.” Michael B, Jordan answered a few questions about his role as the SmokeStack twins following his "Best Actor" win. [Courtesy of Oscars on YouTube] Not only did he write journals, he did chakra work to understand the twins’ thought processes and childhood trauma. Jordan later described his win as timely, answering a question about the importance of his win. He also attributed previous Black winners, such as Halle Berry, Sidney Poitier and Denzel Washington. With both “Sinners” and “One Battle After Another” having their historical night, “The Singers” and “Two People Exchanging Saliva” also made history that night. The two short films both won the Best Live Action Short award, marking the seventh time a tie has happened at the award ceremony. As films and actors basked in the glory of raising their statues, one film walked away empty-handed: “Marty Supreme.” The Josh Safdie picture, starring Timothée Chalamet, follows Marty Mauser as he strives to become a table tennis world champion. “Marty Supreme” was loosely based on the life and career of table tennis champion Marty Reisman. The film’s lack of wins came as a surprise, especially due to its campaign as well as the commentary surrounding Chalamet’s press run during said campaign. Chalamet said “no one cares about” ballet and opera during a Variety and CNN town hall with Matthew McConaughey. “I admire people [saying], ‘Hey, we gotta keep movie theaters alive. We gotta keep this genre alive,” Chalamet said. “I don’t want to be working in ballet or opera where it’s like, ‘Hey, keep this thing alive, even though no one cares about this anymore’ — all respect to the ballet and opera people out there.” The lack of wins for “Marty Supreme” did not stop Chalamet as he found himself at Vanity Fair ’s afterparty. The silver-coded party featured metallic mirrors lining the carpet, a platinum carpet on the inside as well as a reflective bar. Vanity Fair staff writer Elise Taylor described the various social interactions throughout the star-studded event. For one, she ran into Julia Fox at the bar, who was eating Domino’s pizza while wearing a Viktor & Rolf dress with high straps that went past her ears — straps that Taylor likened to a “modern-day Elizabethan collar.” As Taylor put it, Fox seemed surprised Taylor was interested in her look. Those who attended the ceremony began to trickle into the event by 10 p.m, notably host Conan O’Brien who received a congratulations on a job well-done from Damson Idris. “One Battle After Another” star Teyana Taylor “danced in” and hugged “All’s Fair” co-star Kim Kardashian. As the Oscars hype still lingers a week later, various award ceremonies are still on the horizon — notably the Tony Awards, BET Awards, and the MTV Video Music Awards.
- Lil Nas X Seeks Diversion Program for August Arrest and Felony Charges, Thanks Fans for Support
The singer was arrested last year during a concerning episode, which resulted in felony battery charges. Lil Nas X was arrested in August 2025 for resisting arrest and assaulting three police officers. The arrest came after the singer was found walking in the streets of Los Angeles in his underwear. Lil Nas X, real name Montero Lamar Hill, seeks diversion for his felony police battery case, stemming from his arrest in August. Hill appeared in court on Thursday (Mar. 12), and his lawyer Christy O’Conner asked for a short delay so that she could file a motion to transfer the case into a diversion program, according to Rolling Stone . She didn’t specify the type of program, but she’s waiting on an “expert report” to support her request. Upon leaving the Van Nuys, California courthouse, Hill spoke with reporters — though, he didn’t answer any questions. “All I wanted to say is to my fans, I really love, and I miss you, and I appreciate your support so much, and I can’t wait to be back hugging you guys,” Hill said before blowing a kiss. “You guys have a good day.” Hill would stop to ask a busker to play a song, which resulted in the busker playing Radiohead’s “Lucky” as Hill tapped his foot. Hill handed the busker $100 before heading off to the rest of his day. Jensen Pawley, the busker in question, told Rolling Stone that it “was a great moment” and that Hill is “a nice guy.” The “SCOOP” singer previously had a hearing in September , during which his lawyers said he was in treatment at a facility. “You heard the ‘treatment’ word. We’re doing what is best for Montero from a personal standpoint and a professional standpoint, but most importantly, for his well-being,” Hill’s lawyer Drew Finding said after the hearing. “He is surrounded by an amazing family, an amazing team of people that care about him and love him. And we’re just addressing those issues.” As previously reported, Hill was arrested in August 2025 after he was caught walking in the streets of Los Angeles in just his underwear. Prosecutors said he was “strolling naked” along Ventura Boulevard in Studio City around 5:40 a.m. when police arrived. They allege HIll assaulted responding officers who attempted to take him into custody, injuring three of the officers. He was charged with three counts of battery with injury on a police officer and one count of resisting an executive officer. Hill later pleaded not guilty to the charges. If convicted, Hill could spend up to five years behind bars for the incident. Following his weekend stint in jail after his arrest, he spoke out on social media about the situation. “That was f–king terrifying. That was terrifying,” Hill said in a video posted to his Instagram. “That was a terrifying last four days, but your girl is gonna be all right.” Hill will appear again as the Los Angeles Court County judge ordered for the case to return on April 6.
