  • Shiloh Jolie Officially Drops “Pitt” from Last Name, Attorney Speaks on the Decision

The teen’s attorney details the process behind the decision. Back in May, Shiloh Jolie, daughter of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, filed to change her last name, filing a petition on her 18th birthday. After many months and a postponement, the teen’s petition has been fulfilled and she officially goes by Shiloh Nouvel Jolie. The news first broke with a legal notice published to the Los Angeles Times , which is required according to California law. Shiloh’s attorney, Peter Levine, spoke to why the situation was handled the way it was. “Shiloh Jolie did not take out an ‘ad’ announcing any name change, and any press reporting that is inaccurate,” Levine said. “As Shiloh’s attorney, I am required to publish a legal notice because the law in California requires that of anyone who wants to change their name.” Another California-based family attorney David Glass previously shared a sentiment with PEOPLE Magazine, noting that Shiloh had to run the legal notice four weeks in a row before the hearing was scheduled. He noted that name change petitions are usually granted unless a person has a criminal history. Shiloh’s name change comes after Pitt has “virtually no contact” with his adult children, though he still has visitation with the younger kids, according to PEOPLE.  “He has virtually no contract with the adult kids. His engagement with the younger kids is more limited in recent months because of his filming schedule,” an insider close to the situation told PEOPLE.  When Shiloh’s filing became public, an insider noted that Pitt was aware and upset by it. According to the insider, the filing served as a reminder that Pitt has lost his children — a hard pill for the actor to swallow. Pitt’s strained relationship with his children and now ex-wife stems from an alleged incident on a private jet. In 2022, Angelina alleged that a drunk Pitt assaulted and verbally abused both her and two of their children while on the plane in 206. The U.S. Attorney’s Office later declined to press charges. Not only did Shiloh drop “Pitt” from her name, but her older sister also Zahara introduced herself as Zahara Marley Jolie at a sorority initiation ceremony at Spelman College. In the same month that Shiloh initially filed her petition, her sister Vivienne was credited as Vivienne Jolie in the playbill for the Broadway musical The Outsiders .

  • Jennifer Lopez Files for Divorce from Ben Affleck After Months of Breakup Speculation

The couple renewed their romance in 2021 almost two decades after they were first engaged in the early 2000s. Jenny from the Block has filed for divorce from Ben Affleck after more than two years of marriage, according to various reports.  According to the filing, the couple has been separated since April 26, giving validity to the months-long speculation surrounding the couple’s breakup. Court records do not contain any information about a prenuptial agreement, and TMZ reports there is none. Meaning, Lopez and Affleck may have to split any assets accrued during their time together.  Lopez filed in the Los Angeles County Superior Court, requesting to waive spousal support for both her and Affleck. The filing comes exactly two years after they sealed their union in a second wedding ceremony in Georgia.  “She tried really hard to make things work, and is heartbroken,” a source told PEOPLE . “The kids are a top priority, as they always have been.” News of the relationship on shaky ground emerged in May, which was fueled by the fact the couple had not been seen publicly together for almost two months. At the time, a source told PEOPLE that Affleck was not living in the Los Angeles home he shared with Lopez. The “Dinero” singer was asked about her relationship status during an event promoting her film “Atlas” in May, though costar Simu Liu stepped in. “Ok, we’re not doing that,” Liu said. Lopez added: “You know better than that.” As the couple were all smiles during Affleck’s daughter’s high school graduation at the end of May, the speculation surrounding the marriage did not go away. Entertainment Tonight  reported in June that the couple was trying to sell their Beverly Hills home. At the end of July, PEOPLE reports that Affleck bought a $20 million home in Los Angeles — seemingly sealing the couple’s fate. Celebrity realtor Josh Flagg told PEOPLE that the couple listed the Beverly Hills home close to what they paid for it, meaning they really wanted to move. “Bennifer” first met in 2001 on the set of “Gigli,” which famously bombed at the box office, and they were engaged by November of that year. They ultimately called off the wedding in September 2003 due to “the excessive media attention.” Lopez would go on to marry Marc Anthony in June 2004, sharing twins and ultimately divorcing a decade later. Affleck married actor Jennifer Garner in June 2005, also divorcing after 10 years together and sharing three children.

  • Doja Cat and “Stranger Things” Star Joseph Quinn Spotted Throughout London, Sparking Dating Rumors

The duo has been seen throughout London in the last couple of weeks, hitting up lunch spots and music venues. “Say So” rapper Doja Cat and “Stranger Things” star Joseph Quinn have been enjoying each other’s company as they are seen in London. A couple of weeks ago, the duo was seen walking the streets of London during the day, according to a video posted exclusively by Deuxmoi. The gossip column also posted a grainy photo of the duo in Dingwalls, a local music video. In both the video and photo, the rumored couple can be seen packing on the PDA quite heavily.  Clearer photos of the duo have been posted to social media, including one of them having a lunch date. Another photo features them walking the street yet again — this time with the “Need to Know” rapper sporting a see-through mesh shirt, leather skirt and knee-high leather boots and Quinn wearing a light blue button-down shirt, slacks and fancy dress shows. The moment comes more than two years after the “Say So” rapper slid into the DMs of Quinn’s “Stranger Things” costar, Noah Schnapp. She inquired for Schnapp to tell Quinn to hit her up, following that up with a question about Quinn’s relationship status. Schnapp would encourage Doja to slide into Quinn’s Instagram DM and later directs her to Quinn’s Instagram account. Schnapp would later share the private conversation to social media, upsetting Doja in the process. She took to TikTok live to vent about the situation, during which she acknowledged that Schnapp was still a kid and that everyone should “chill about it.” That didn’t stop her from criticizing him for sharing their conversation. “The fact that Noah did that. Like, went and posted a private conversation between me and him is so unbelievably socially unaware and what. That’s like borderline snake s–t, that’s like weasel s–t,” Doja said during the live session. A couple months prior to the incident, the rapper tweeted about Quinn and his attractiveness.  Neither Doja Cat nor Joseph Quinn have confirmed the dating rumors.

  • Megan Thee Stallion Sues YouTuber and Media Personality Milagro Gramz for Spreading “Lies” About Tory Lanez Shooting Case

The Houston Hottie is taking legal action against the media personality due to a “campaign of harassment and cyberbullying.”  The “Cocky AF” rapper is filing a lawsuit against YouTuber Milagro Gramz, real name Milagro Elizabeth Cooper, claiming the media personality is a “mouthpiece and puppet” for Tory Lanez. In the lawsuit, attorneys for Megan Thee Stallion, real name Megan Pete, accused Cooper of carrying out a campaign to harass, insult and spread falsehoods about the Houston-born rapper. The alleged smear campaign included the blogger spreading a deepfake pornography featuring Pete. “It’s time to hold bloggers accountable for years of harassment, cyberbullying, and the publication of misinformation about my personal and professional life,” Pete said in a statement shared with Rolling Stone . “I’ve endured countless attacks on my character based on false narratives from social media bloggers misrepresenting themselves as journalists. It’s unacceptable behavior and this individuals need to understand there will be repercussions for recklessly posting lies and defamatory falsehoods.” Pete’s lawyers, one being Alex Spiro, also released a statement of their own — saying that the rapper will no longer stand for the blogger’s “campaign of harassment.” Cooper took to Twitter in response to the news of the lawsuit, stating: “I’ve been informed that I’m being sued by Alex Spiro on behalf of his client Megasn Thee Stallion … Of course we’ll chat about it. They threw in the tape too.” — Milagro Cooper via Twitter/X She would continue to tweet about the suit as well as reposting various journalists and news publications as they reported on the story. In one particular tweet, Cooper notes that the “countersuit gone go crazy." Pete’s lawsuit claims that the media personality acts on behalf of Tory Lanez, real name Daystar Peterson, as a rumor mill that spreads false narratives about the Houston Hottie. According to Rolling Stone , Spiro issued Cooper a notice to preserve documents and information related to the case. This would include her social media posts, her communications with Peterson and his family as well as fellow media personality DJ Akademiks. The new lawsuit came soon after a false story about Pete and Peterson circulated on social media. The story claimed that the “Say It” singer was declared innocent in an appeals court, which couldn’t be farther from the truth. DJ Akademiks had shared the false news via his Akademiks TV account by posting a screenshot of a document signed by three judges. The document in question was procedural issued by the appeals court, acknowledging Peterson’s new petition alongside his previous appeals. The Akademiks TV account would delete its post, though thousands likely already saw the post. Spiro criticized those who shared the false story, noting that they would face consequences for doing so.  The move to sue Cooper isn’t surprising as Pete previously made her intentions clear in her 2022 Rolling Stone  cover story. “I think it’s so crazy that people are able to get online or publish anything that is not a 100 percent fact … I just learned that you really can’t get away with that, and I’m going to get you,” Pete said in the interview. “Right now I’m getting all my stuff together because I’m seeing it. Yeah, you keep doing that. I’m going to spin the block on you.” Unite The People Inc., a non-profit organization founded by defense attorneys and families of incarcerated people, agreed to represent Cooper in the suit brought against her. The organization, according to the announcement, also agreed to represent other social media influencers, journalists or podcasts that also received the lawsuit. “Milagro Elizabeth Cooper has been served a lawsuit making a lot of falses claims against her professional conduct in an attempt to stop her from reporting on the Daystar Peterson case,” the statement read.  The statement continued: “Unite the People Inc. has agreed to take on the defense of Milagro Cooper…as well as any other social media influencer, journalism platform, journalists, podcast or reporter of any type that has received this lawsuit against them or any other form of bullying/harassment to silence them from their right to free speech.” The organization previously represented Peterson during his appeals against his 10-year sentence for shooting the Houston Hottie. Though its reputation took a hit when it also spread the false claims of Peterson’s innocence, the same false claims DJ Akademiks TV posted on social media. The organization originally reported that the appellate court accepted the “Luv” singer’s innocence claim.  Peterson was convicted in December 2022 for three felony counts relating to a summer 2020 incident, during which Peterson shot at Pete’s foot. Since his conviction and sentencing, Peterson’s legal team has submitted several appeals to not only prove his innocence and ensure his release. Cooper did not answer the publication’s call for comment.

  • “Vanderpump Rules” Alum Brittany Wright Divorces Jax Taylor After Five Years of Marriage

The couple’s nuptials were initially captured on Bravo’s “Vanderpump Rules,” though the rocky end of their relationship was captured on “The Valley.” Brittany Wright, star of Bravo’s “The Valley” and formerly “Vanderpump Rules,” filed for divorce from longtime partner Jax Taylor. The decision was a “long time coming,” a source exclusively told PEOPLE. Wright filed on Aug. 27 and requested primary custody of their three-year-old son Cruz, according to court documents obtained by PEOPLE. The news of the divorce comes six months after the couple initially decided to take time apart. The court documents also show the date of separation as January 24, 2024 per Page Six . A source exclusively told PEOPLE that the divorce is something Wright knew she needed to do for “the best interest of herself and her son.” Wright filed to get out of the tumultuous cycle that they’ve been living in, added the source. “There’s a lot that has transpired over the past few months that she could not look past,” the source said. “This decision wasn’t made lightly but she feels adamant that it was the right one.” Taylor has mixed emotions about the filing, the source explained, though he knows it is the right decision. The reality star apparently has been having an emotional month, but he tries to stay strong for his three-year-old son.  Cartwright seeks to keep all properties she acquired before the marriage or after the date of separation. The couple has various joint businesses, notably a bar called Jax’s Studio City, and a podcast titled “When Reality Hits.” The news of the split first came in February during an episode of their podcast. “Yes, marriages in general are very hard and I've had a particularly rough year this past year,” Cartwright said. “Jax and I are taking time apart and I made the decision to move into another home to take some space for the sake of my mental health.” During the season finale of “The Valley,” Cartwright explained the real reason behind their split. She explained to her co-stars that Taylor would come home from the bar with horrible hangovers, which would cause him to be as “mean as f–cking snake.”  In one instance, Cartwright packed up her stuff and took their son out of the house after Taylor had been screaming at her for hours. It was that moment when she began noticing all of the things Taylor has done to her. Taylor admitted to dealing with mental health and anger issues, prompting him to enter a mental health facility in July. He completed the 30-day treatment, and he will return for the second season of “The Valley.” Cartwright will also return for the second season of the Bravo show.

  • Linkin Park Debuts Emily Armstrong as New Lead Vocalist, Though Her Connection to Scientology Casts Dark Cloud Over the Band's Reunification

As the band reunites, its new lead vocalist has a connection to the controversial group known for its troubling practices. ***CONTENT WARNING: THIS STORY MENTIONS RAPE AND SEXUAL ABUSE. PLEASE READ WITH CAUTION. *** The reunification of Linkin Park comes after the 2017 death of Chester Bennington with new music, a new vocalist and drummer, and an upcoming tour. The band debuted Emily Armstrong as the new lead singer, and Colin Brittain as the new drummer during a livestream on Thursday. The duo will join the remaining original members Mike Shinoda and Brad Delson as well as Phoenix and Joe Hahn. Shinoda will serve as co-lead vocalist alongside Armstrong. Armstrong previously spent her time with alternative rock band Dead Sara, while Brittain worked with bands like Papa Roach, All Time and A Day to Remember. Brittain replaces Rob Bourdon, who served as the band’s drummer during its original run. Not only did they announce their new vocalist and drummer, Linkin Park debuted their single “The Emptiness Machine” during the livestream. They also announced their upcoming album, titled FROM ZERO . “Before Linkin Park, our first band name was Xero. This album title refers to both this humble beginning and the journey we’re currently undertaking,” Shinoda said in a statement shared by Brooklyn Vegan .  “Sonically and emotionally, it is about past, present, and future — embracing our signature sound, but new and full of life. It was made with a deep appreciation for our new and longtime bandmates, our friends, our family, and our fans,” the statement continued. “We are proud of what Linkin Park has become over the years, and excited about the journey ahead.” The band also announced their From Zero World Tour , which will include six arena shows in Los Angeles, New York, Germany, London, South Korea and Bogotá. The announcement of Armstrong as the new lead vocalist wasn’t met with complete joy as social media users spoke out against her alleged connection to Scientology. The controversial pseudo-religion has been under fire for years for its troubling practices and alleged abuses against its members. A social media user shared a 2013 photo of Armstrong attending the organization’s Celebrity Centre 44th Anniversary Gala. An accompanying press release  from the Church of Scientology confirms Armstrong’s attendance at the event. Armstrong allegedly supported Danny Masterson during his trial, which was based on the Masterson allegedly raping three women in the early 2000s. Masterson would later be convicted on two counts of rape. The disturbing irony of Armstrong of replacing Bennington wasn’t lost on fans as they point out how he was a victim of sexual abuse during his childhood.  According to CNN , the abuse haunted the singer and contributed to his excessive use of drugs and alcohol. Linkin Park nor Armstrong have yet to respond to the backlash.

  • Rich Homie Quan, Rapper Known for “Type of Way,” Dies at 34

The Atlanta rapper’s death shocked musicians, celebrities and fans alike.   Rich Homie Quan, real name Dequantes Devontay Lamar, died on Thursday at 34-years-old.  The Fulton County Medical Examiner’s Office confirmed his death, though they have yet to confirm the cause. An autopsy is scheduled to be performed on Friday, according to Jimmy Sadler, the senior medical examiner investigator with the Fulton County Medical Examiner's Office. TMZ obtained a copy of the 911 call made by the rapper’s girlfriend, Amber Williams, during which she describes how she found Quan. Williams told the dispatcher that Quan had fallen asleep on the couch the night before, and he hadn’t moved by the time she checked the next morning. She placed a blanket over him as she took her son to school, assuming he was still sleeping.  When she returned home, she noticed that he was not breathing, and she couldn’t feel a heartbeat. She notes that he was foaming at the mouth when she turned him over, crying as she told the dispatch. Williams was instructed to lay the rapper on his back and paramedics arrived soon after. He was declared dead at the scene. Quan became known for his melodic raps, which became popular in the early and mid-2010s. He found success in 2015 with his hit “Flex (Ooh, Ooh, Ooh)” and his feature on YG’s “My N—a.” Earlier hits include 2013’s “Type of Way” and 2014’s “Lifestyle,” the latter going platinum in the United States and jump-starting both his and Young Thug’s careers. The pair were closely tied to each other during this time as they were members of Rich Gang. The group included the duo and various artists from Young Money and Cash Money record labels. Birdman, real name Brian Williams and public face of Cash Money Records, introduced the world to the group in 2013. Quan dropped his only full-length studio album, “Rich as in Spirit,” in 2018 through Motown Records. Prior to that, from 2012 until 2017, he dropped several mixtapes — many of which charted on Billboard’s Top 200 chart. His last mixtape, “Back to the Basics,” peaked at no. 84 on Billboard’s Top 200 chart and no. 42 on Billboard’s Top U.S. R&B/Hip-Hop Albums. The “Walk Thru” rapper was scheduled to perform at Nick Cannon’s Wild ‘N Out Live: The Final Lap tour in Atlanta this month alongside other rappers.

  • “Chrisley Knows Best” Couple Sentenced in Bank Fraud and Tax Evasion Case

Todd and Julie Chrisley of “Chrisley Knows Best” were collectively sentenced to 19 years for what’s described as a “15-year fraud spree.” According to WSB-TV in Atlanta, Todd Chrisley was sentenced to 12 years while Julie was sentenced only seven years. The couple was convicted in June of tax evasion and bank fraud. Prosecutors say the couple falsified records to get up to $30 million in bank loans, then Todd allegedly filed for bankruptcy and defaulted on $20 million. The federal jury found that the couple hid millions of dollars from the IRS. Federal prosecutors wanted Tod to serve 17-21 years and up to 10-12 years for Julie. In a sentencing memo, prosecutors point to the couple flaunting their wealth on their hit television show while stiffing contractors and service workers. The memo alleges that the couple jumped from one scheme to another while evading their taxes and “their  ’empire’ was built upon the backs of defrauded community banks that collapsed while Todd Chrisley used the stolen money to fly to Los Angeles for bi-weekly haircuts.” Peter Tarantino, the couple’s accountant, was sentenced to three years for conspiring to defraud the IRS and filing false tax returns. Bruce Morris, Todd Chrisley’s defense attorney, tried to get a reduced sentence. Morris argued that the delinquent taxes were paid and that many people depend on Todd for their income. Another attorney for the Chrisleys, Alex Little, said they will appeal the conviction.

  • Iggy Azalea Sells Master and Publishing in 8-Figure Deal

The Australian rapper says the deal is worth “an amount that means I don’t have to work another day in my life.” Iggy Azalea revealed that she’s sold her master recordings and publishing catalog to Domain Capital Group. A source close to the deal says the agreement included Azalea’s shares in her current catalog. According to Billboard’s report on the deal, a “trigger” on future earnings was a part of the deal. Meanwhile, Azalea’s Bad Dream label, which is owned by Azalea, has a new distribution deal on the horizon. With the news going public, some drew comparison to Taylor Swift’s master recordings controversy. Swift had left Big Machine when she signed with Republic Records in late 2018. Scooter Braun’s holding company Ithaca Ventures purchased Big Machine Label Group for more than $300 million. Swift’s back catalog had been part of the deal, which led to the singer re-recording two of her albums so far, Fearless (Taylor’s Version) and Red (Taylor’s Version). Azalea quips that Swift did not profit from her deal, while she personally did. “Taylor did not profit from that sale,” Azalea tweeted. “I sold a portion to who I wanted, for an amount that means I don’t have to work another day in my life. I love y’all down, but the master’s conversation is a little beyond most of your understanding of business.” The Australian rapper responds to another Twitter user, who was throwing shade at another Twitter user, who orginally tweeted: “When you have a catalog worth any revenue. THEN YOU CAN SPEAK ON LEGENDARY ARTISTS.” Iggy Azalea also explains that she sold her catalogs and masters because she has “other business” she’d like to invest in. She also responds to another Twitter user who wondered about another possible tour: “Not in 2023 cause my back literally needs a break. Lollllll But I’m aiming to drop a project instead!” The exact dollar amount worth of the deal hasn’t been revealed.

  • Netflix’s New Feature Film: A Grandmother Accidentally Inviting a Stranger to Thanksgiving

The viral moment of a stranger being invited to Thanksgiving has become a social media tradition. A tradition that led to a Netflix feature film. In 2016, Wanda Dench was finalizing the guest list for Thanksgiving when she texted who she thought was her grandson. She unknowingly texted Jamal Hinton, a high school senior at the time. Drench’s original text read that Thanksgiving would be at her house at 3 p.m. Hinton texted back, saying “Who is this?” “It’s your grandma,” Drench responded. Hinton then asked for a selfie, and he subsequently sent a selfie of his own. They both realize the mistake, and Hinton hilariously asks if he could still grab a plate. Drench replied: “Of course you can. That’s what grandmas do…they feed everyone!” Since then, it has become a lovely tradition that everyone looks forward to during Thanksgiving. According to Variety, the tradition will be the subject of an upcoming Netflix feature film, titled “The Thanksgiving Text.” The tradition took an emotional meaning when Drench’s husband of 42 years, Lonnie Drench, died in April 2022 due to Covid-19 complications. In a joint statement, Drench and Hinton shared their excitement for the upcoming film: "We are excited to share our story with the world. We hope it inspires more people to reach out and make connections that they wouldn’t ordinarily make… We are so blessed to find a genuine friendship brought together by God from a mistaken text message.” Abdul Williams, who’s written screenplays for “Salt-N-Pepa” and “The Bobby Brown Story,” will write the screenplay for “The Thanksgiving Text.” Neither a director nor a cast has been set for the film. Producers include Robert Teitel and George Tillman, Jr. for State Street Pictures. The production company was behind films like “The Hate U Give” and “The Barbershop Franchise.”

  • Jury Deliberations in Danny Masterson Continue After Thanksgiving Break Due to Controversial Ruling

A controversial legal concept barred in many states allows for the jury to return next week for deliberations. Danny Masterson, known for his role in “That ‘70s Shows,” has been on trial for three counts of forcible rape and the jury is currently deadlocked. According to the 1896 Supreme Court ruling in Allen v. United States, a court can instruct deadlocked jurors to re-examine their views, otherwise known as the “Allen Charge.” Other states, including Oregon, Alaska, and Pennsylvania, have barred the ruling’s use altogether. Law & Crime reported that Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Charmaine F. Olmedo cited the case last week when explaining her response to the hung jury. The foreperson of the jury sent in a note that essentially said the jury couldn’t make a unanimous decision. In some states, a deadlocked jury would lead to a mistrial. In California, though, judges can declare that a jury hasn’t deliberated long enough to declare themselves deadlocked. Masterson’s lawyer Phillip Cohen objected to the jury not returning until Monday. Olmedo says that trials often break for holidays and that five jurors had travel plans and other commitments. Revisions regarding the Allen Charge claim that its existing language injects “extraneous and improper considerations into the jury’s debates.” This included a clause that says dissenting jurors should reconsider their views. California’s revision got rid of that language, and Masterson’s jury weren’t told anything like it. The Allen Charge thrives in U.S. District Court and some judges wouldn’t read it to juries due to fears of coercing a verdict. The “That ‘70s Show” actor faces 45 years in prison if he’s convicted. Masterson’s membership in the Church of Scientology has been a huge part of the trial. Olmedo allowed it for five reasons: Why the alleged victims didn’t contact the police sooner Their fears of becoming a “suppressive person within Scientology The alleged harassment from the Church of Scientology towards the alleged victims Past and present ties to Scientology as it relates to their current state of mind The jurors previously asked to see a poster board shown in closing arguments as well as a police report regarding the first victim who testified, Jennifer B. Both pieces were not submitted to evidence, so Olmedo didn’t allow them to see either. They also requested transcripts of testimony about a phone call between Masterson and Jennifer B., but Olmedo wouldn’t allow that, either. Instead, Olmedo had them listen to the court reporter read back the testimony. Masterson’s trial has been quite full of onlookers, including journalists, Scientology lawyers and other representatives,  and former Scientology members. Interestingly, Masterson’s trial is held in the same building as Harvey Weinstein’s sexual misconduct trial.

  • JPMorgan and Deutsche Bank Sued For Their Connection to Jeffrey Epstein

JPMorgan Chase and Deutsche Bank have been sued by a Jane Doe for profiting from the sexual of young girls and women by late financier Jeffry Epstein. According to Forbes, two lawsuits were filed against JPMorgan Chase and Deutsche Bank on Thursday for their role in the sexual abuse of women by the hands of Jeffrey Epstein. The lawsuits allege the financial institutions “benefitted and received things of value for assisting, supporting, facilitating, and otherwise providing the most critical service for the Jeffrey Epstein sex trafficking organization to successfully rape, sexually assault and coercively sex traffic Plaintiff Jane Doe 1…” This comes during a year-long window in New York for adult sex abuse victims to file cases that would have otherwise been past the statute of limitations. These lawsuits were brought by two different unnamed women who accused Jeffrey Epstein of sexual abuse. Both lawsuits describe the inner-workings of Epstein’s trafficking ring. For one, the lawsuits allege that Epstein did not work alone. Epstein was allegedly able to maintain his trafficking ring with the help of influential people who knew he was sexually trafficking and abusing young women and girls. These influential people helped facilitate Epstein’s “sexual trafficking operation.” Deutsche Bank allegedly played a role in the operation from around 2013 until 2018. The bank “knowingly participated” by enabling zepstein to pay off victims. The lawsuit alleges that Deutsche Bank made millions from helping Epstein’s alleged sex trafficking ring. JPMorgan declined to speak with Forbes, though Deutsche Bank told the publication that the allegation holds no merit and the bank will present its own case in court. Read both lawsuits below:
