The former 1501 Certified Entertainment artist was booked for possessing drugs with the intention of distribution.

Erica Banks, cast member of “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta,” was arrested for riding in a stolen vehicle while possessing both ecstasy and marijuana.
The Houston-born rapper, real name Erica Breaux, was taken into custody after Atlanta police pulled over a car with a tinted tag cover — which is illegal in Georgia. The car also had a dealer tag on its rear bumper, prompting the police to run it through state databases. According to Atlanta police, the car was previously reported stolen.
Officers ordered both Breaux and the driver, Amani Dirton, out of the vehicle, and proceeded to search the vehicle. While searching the car, police found ecstasy in Breauz’ purse as well as marijuana packaged for distribution.
Breaux faces drug possession and the intent to distribute charges, which are both felonies. Dirton faces both charges as well as a traffic misdemeanor for the tint violation and for driving a stolen car.
The 27-year-old “Buss It” rapper was booked into the DeKalb County Jail and released almost nine hours later, according to records. She was previously arrested at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport in August for having a handgun in her purse.
After security saw the handgun after an x-ray inspection, a police officer ran a check and discovered it was stolen in 2018 out of South Carolina. Breaux later explained the handgun belonged to one of her security guards, though she never gave a name. She was booked into the Clayton County Jail and released sometime later.
The story is currently developing as it’s unclear whether Breaux or Dirton will face any further jail time.
